D -E -A -D (Taped Square piece from "How To Make A Film")

about

In 2012 Hollywood Arthouse Executive Producers, Seumas Next & Stephen Kern asked me to record a music score for their art film - HOW TO MAKE A FILM. Reluctantly, I agreed!

When briefed that the entire score could only be done using the notes D, E, A & D, I knew I had made a great error of judgement. However, I persisted.

This piece (aka Taped Square) was edited together as a final sequence for the movie using all the segments I had created on various guitar and keyboard tracks. I have previously released it as part of my SOUNDSCAPES piece on my EXPOSURE album (hence the reminiscent artwork, by my wife). But I have decided to re-release it as a separate track for all to enjoy!

Rob's music is very eclectic. Playing multi-layered psychedelic guitar epics, incorporating loads of improvisation and unearthly sounds, Rob's performance is sure to entertain anybody with a true love of musical expression and an appreciation of instrumental virtuosity.
